The human figure is one of the most challenging subjects to draw and paint. This means that drawing and painting the figure accurately, requires acute observation and practice, practice, practice. I began attending live nude model classes in Lakeland, Winter Haven, St. Petersburg, and Tampa, FL between 2009 and 2011. Along with fellow artists Tony Corbitt and Aaron Corbitt, I would draw or paint from the model at least 8 hours a week. These are some of the sketches I made.
